I had a 360-degree liposuction, a tummy tuck and a breast lift performed by Dr Mehmet Uzuner in February 2026. I am very satisfied with the results so far, as well as with the whole process. Dr Uzuner himself explained the procedures to me in detail, answered all my questions satisfactorily, and did a fantastic job on my body. The nurses Servcan, Hava and Meleke were also very professional, attentive to my needs, and also very kind. I highly recommend their lymph & lipo massage. Everything, including the airport transfers, accommodation and aftercare provided by the nurses, went smoothly, and I felt well looked after. Special thanks to Servcan and Mr Osman, who were always responsive and supportive whenever I needed them. The least positive aspect was that, if you don't speak the local language, communicating with the nurses and hospital staff can sometimes be tiresome, as they speak little English. Although a professional interpreter was organised for hospital admission and the pre-op consultation with the doctor, to help me with the paperwork and ensure I understood the procedures, daily communication was mainly written or via translation apps. I want to leave a very detailed review for those who are as scared as I was by the negative online reactions. I had a complex procedure: Vaser 360° liposuction, diastasis closure, breast lift without implants, and liposuction of my arms and inner legs. 1. My Investigation and Fears After making a deposit, I came across some terrifying reviews (about false diagnoses and refusal to refund for a missed BBL). I panicked and even found a woman (Ellie) on Facebook who had cancelled her surgery with Mehmet because of these reviews and gone to another clinic. But her experience at "another place" was a nightmare: poor care, forgotten antibiotics, and a complete lack of attention from the nurses. I wanted to add screenshots of my correspondence with her, but Google is blocking my review: she wrote that she ended up in "hell"—at the other clinic, she received no care, they forgot to give her antibiotics, and the nurses didn't even come to her. 2. Kerem explained why this happened. I demanded an explanation from my coordinator, Kerem. He said that most scandalous cases (like with the BBL or the tests) occur when people work through unscrupulous intermediary agencies. They inflate prices, don't refund money, and confuse patients. I trusted my coordinator, Kerem, who was available 24/7 and dispelled all my doubts. Unfortunately, I can't add a screenshot of the conversation as proof; Google won't allow it 🤷‍♀️ 3. MY EXPERIENCE (100 out of 10) I trusted the doctor's team directly and had no regrets: • Care: Amazing. My mother was with me, but I didn't need her help—the staff did everything themselves. For two days, they gave me IVs, one after the other, without interruption, and I felt no pain at all. • Follow-up: Even after I was discharged to the hotel, they came to check on me every day. SAFETY: Importantly, the clinic provides medical insurance valid for one year. If any problems arise after the surgery, you will receive assistance completely free of charge. This gives you tremendous peace of mind. Don't trust intermediaries; trust the results and direct communication. I came and saw it for myself! I am very satisfied with the doctor's work – technically top-notch. Unfortunately, this experience was almost completely overshadowed by the organization. There were problems right from the booking stage: I was given a specific date on which I should book my flight. It later turned out that one night too few had been scheduled, even though I could easily have stayed an extra night at the hotel. When I pointed this out, there was some discussion instead of finding a solution immediately. In the end, I was only given a €85 discount for the additional night.
Furthermore, on the day of the surgery, we were told we had to check out of the hotel and only check back in the next day – even though I had paid for a total of four nights.
Upon arrival, everything initially went well: punctual pick-up, smooth process, doctor's appointments and surgery date were well organized. Shortly before the surgery, I felt very uncomfortable because hardly anyone spoke English, the interpreter was no longer present, and there was a loud discussion about my nails in the operating room without my prior knowledge. This was very unpleasant in an already stressful situation. After the surgery, I received care at the hospital, but most of the staff were unfriendly and spoke little English, so many questions could only be answered using a mobile phone translator. I was discharged in pain and assured that a nurse would check on me regularly. From this point on, the biggest problems began: no fixed appointments, no reliable times, and feedback often only after complaints. Even on the last day, I had to wait for hours for a response because I still didn't have an appointment for my final examination with the doctor. The promised driver for the examination was late, I had to wait outside, and there was no apology whatsoever. Instead, I was asked to change my Google review so as not to harm the company. On my return flight, despite my request, I was taken to the airport far too early (3:15 a.m.), even though our flight wasn't until 7:00 a.m. and the drive only takes 20–30 minutes at night. My request was ignored, with the explanation that one had to be at the airport at least three hours in advance. In conclusion: The doctor does excellent work, but the organization behind it was a huge disappointment. My name is Mirsada, and I travelled from the UK to have 360 liposuction with Dr Mehmet Uzuner. Prior to choosing Dr Mehmet, I had several consultations with other companies. Many of them had thousands of social media followers, but very few genuine reviews or real patient photos, which made me cautious.
I was initially apprehensive about having surgery abroad, but after speaking with one of Dr Mehmet’s coordinators, Kerem, I felt confident that I had made the right decision. All communication was fast, reassuring, and professional, and every question I had was answered promptly.
From the moment I landed at the airport, the entire journey was seamless. Transfers were well organised, and I was well looked after from check-in at the hospital through to meeting Dr Mehmet, who carefully explained the procedure and asked about my expectations. He was very honest and realistic about what could be achieved, which I really appreciated.
The surgery itself went smoothly, and the hospital staff were amazing — always attentive and available. After returning to the hotel, nurses checked on me twice on the first day. I was assigned a nurse called Sevcan, who was available 24/7 and answered all my questions at any time.
Sevcan visited me every day to monitor my recovery, change my dressings, and perform lymphatic drainage massages. Her care and professionalism made a huge difference to my recovery.
Overall, I have had nothing but a positive experience. Dr Mehmet and his entire team have been absolutely amazing and have exceeded my expectations. My results are already better than I anticipated, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

I am writing this review about Dr. Mehmet Uzuner. My experience with him was extremely disappointing. I went in for a functional procedure to improve my breathing, but instead I was left with visible damage, including uneven nasal openings and a crooked appearance.

I delayed writing this review until I consulted other specialists to be completely fair. After evaluations in three different countries, all confirmed that the damage occurred during the surgery performed by this doctor.

What made the situation worse was the lack of professional care afterward. Dr. Uzuner did not respond to my concerns. I felt ignored and treated like a number rather than a patient.

Based on my experience and the medical opinions I received afterward, I cannot recommend this doctor.

Dr. Mehmet is a fantastic doctor who explains everything in great detail, including what can be done and how. Initially I was very dubious about booking surgery in Turkey however Dr Mehmet and his team are amazing. Communication whilst I was in England was quick and all my questions were answered, there was no pushiness and I booked at my own pace.

When I arrived in Istanbul communications continued with nurse Ece. Ece was brilliant, she answered any concerns and answered all my questions.

The first night I explored the local area, everything you need is within 10/15 min walking distance and the guys in the hotel are very helpful.

My surgery lasted 2 hrs. I had an arm lift and the results are beyond my expectations. I was looked after very well by the nurses in the hospital. The language difference did not cause any problems.

I returned to the hotel, Ece continued to check on me and I met with Dr Mehmet for a final check up.

The whole process could not have gone any smoother. I return to England tomorrow with the slim arms I could of previously only dreamed of.
