Hair transplantation

In FUE hair transplantation, the second stage is opening the channels. Using a special blade with a sapphire tip, the doctor opens the channels – makes cuts on the scalp, into which the grafts will later be planted. The experience of the transplant doctor is very important here. After all, the opening of the channels must be done at the correct angle and with maximum density, so that the hair will be thick in the future. After the channels are open, the planting of grafts into the channels begins.

The FUE method is used when the patient has extensive bald areas, it is necessary to transplant a lot of hair with maximum density.

In DHI hair transplantation, the second stage – opening of the channels is absent. The grafts that have been collected and sorted are placed in a special Choi implanter pen and are implanted directly one by one. That is, the doctor makes a puncture with this pen and simultaneously plants the graft. Contrary to popular belief about the advantages of one method over another, each of the methods is used in each specific case. The transplant method is determined by the doctor after studying the patient’s case.

The DHI method is used when the patient does not have a clearly defined hairless zone. It is better to use it for patients who have thinning of individual zones, but still have enough of their own hair on them. After all, this method allows you to transplant new grafts between or next to your hair without damaging their roots

If the patient has a mixed type of baldness, then a combined FUE and DHI transplantation method is recommended. Each zone will be transplanted using its own method.
