I had jaw implant surgery at Dr. Gürkan's clinic. I researched the jaw implant process extensively, but when I found Dr. Gürkan's clinic, I didn't bother looking elsewhere; I went straight there. From start to finish, both Dr. Gürkan and Ms. Helin were incredibly attentive. It hasn't even been 15 days since the surgery, but I'm almost completely recovered. I had surgery with Dr. Gurkan Kayabasoglu around two and a half weeks ago so I am still in the early stages of recovery and my final results are not visible yet. However, I wanted to share my experience so far.

From the moment I arrived everything felt professional, organised and reassuring. The clinic and hospital were very clean, modern and comfortable. Every member of staff was kind, patient and respectful.
Dr. Gurkan took the time to listen to my concerns and understand what I wanted to improve. He never rushed the consultation and explained the procedures clearly. What I appreciated most was his honesty. Initially I wanted surgery on my jaw, chin and nose. After examining me he explained that I already had a strong jawline and did not need jaw surgery. For me that showed professionalism and integrity. He focused on what would genuinely improve my facial harmony rather than simply agreeing to everything I requested so I chose to do an eyebrow lift, chin implant and rhinoplasty.

I also want to thank Hudi who was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and one of the nicest man I’ve ever met. He answered all of my questions, was always available when I needed assistance and made me feel supported from start to finish.

At no point did I feel pressured, rushed or uncomfortable. Every step was explained carefully and I always felt that I was in safe hands.
Although I am still swollen and my final results will take time I am happy with my experience and results so far and grateful to Dr. Gurkan, Hudi and the entire team for their professionalism, honesty and care.

We came for an examination with hope because our relative suffered facial paralysis, but unfortunately, the way we were communicated with them saddened us greatly. Whether or not treatment is possible is, of course, a doctor's medical assessment, and we respect that. However, the tone used when expressing this is just as important as the diagnosis itself. During the examination, the doctor spoke to the patient in an inappropriate, almost scolding manner, which upset us deeply. Furthermore, they corrected the patient's words with condescending and dismissive remarks like, "What does that mean?" While a negative medical opinion can be given, it could have been expressed in a more empathetic and respectful way. The patient was already in a sensitive state, seeking hope. My wife underwent surgery by this doctor a few years ago. Before the operation, neither the expected length of the procedure nor the serious risks involved were clearly explained. The surgery lasted 9 hours, and afterward, life-threatening complications developed. She experienced severe swelling throughout her body, even affecting her lungs. The process was extremely difficult and frightening for us. Even more concerning was the way this was treated afterwards, as if it were "normal" and something that could happen anytime. However, the situation was far from ordinary. Frankly, after this experience, we have serious doubts about whether the doctor possesses sufficient experience and foresight for this type of operation. The aesthetic outcome of the surgery was also far below our expectations; however, at the time, due to the life-threatening risks we faced, we weren't even in a state to focus on that. Because of the severity of the situation, we didn't pursue any legal action at the time. However, this doesn't mean what happened was minor. Therefore, even though time has passed, we felt the need to write this review. I strongly advise anyone considering a similar procedure to thoroughly investigate all the risks and not make a decision without receiving clear answers. I am currently two months post-op after rhinoplasty, a chin implant, fat transfer, and buccal fat removal with Dr. Gurkan, and it has been an extremely positive experience.

Dr. Gurkan and his team made it clear that my health and satisfaction were their top priorities. Dr. Gurkan was thorough, professional, and realistic during the consultation without ever making me feel rushed. My consultant was extremely kind and reassuring and any questions I had were answered promptly.

The hospital where I had surgery was excellent. The nurses were attentive and the language barrier was never an issue. The healing process went smoothly and within five days I was able to go on brief outings pain-free.

I am especially pleased with my chin implant. Dr. Gurkan chose a size that remained natural while still making a drastic improvement to both my front and side profile.

Because I am only two months post-op, some swelling is still visible in my nose, despite this, I am already pleased with the results and confident the final outcome will match the goals we discussed. He has a great eye for facial harmony, and my nose fits my features naturally. My breathing has also improved significantly, along with better sleep and fewer headaches.

The buccal fat removal created a more sculpted look without any harsh hollowing and the fat transfer also achieved exactly what I hoped for.

Overall, these changes have greatly improved my confidence, and I’m very grateful to Dr. Gurkan and his team.
