I owe endless gratitude to our doctor, Associate Professor Dr. Murat Akkuş. The hospital's care, attention, and attention to patients are excellent, as is the diligence and sensitivity shown to the needs of the patients' relatives; it is full of incredible dedication. Thank you endlessly. I wish everyone healthy days. With the hope that all hospitals in our country would have this level of equipment so that every patient receives the highest quality service... Thank God, my paths crossed with Professor Veysel Şal. Even if I wrote thousands of words here, it wouldn't be enough to describe him. You can only truly appreciate his sincerity, attention, and friendly demeanor by visiting him. He's an exceptional professor, on a whole different level. I hope you never need him, but if you ever do, don't hesitate. All the staff at the hospital are friendly and caring – you only understand how important a smile is to a patient when you're sick yourself. The warmth of a nurse holding your hand and leading you to the operating room, even though it's the first time they've met you, is an extraordinary feeling. May God bless them all and keep them safe. 🙏🏻 Translated fromTurkish

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Memorial Clinic for giving my sister a chance at life in January 2026 thanks to a liver transplant. Our situation was critical: all other clinics refused to accept us, but Memorial not only agreed but also organized the surgery that saved my sister's life. Special thanks to Professor Kamil Yalcin Polat, who was the only doctor who didn't give up on us, telling us there was a chance and we would take it, while other clinics flatly refused my sister. Thanks to him, a donor from Belgium was found, and we performed a complex cross-match surgery with four participants. Despite my sister's extremely serious condition—a coma, multiple complications, and virtual organ failure—the surgery was a success. I thank the intensive care team who fought for her life, not just as one of their patients, but with a personalized approach. I would also like to thank the clinic's International Department: • Mine, our coordinator and translator, who accompanied us at every stage and promptly resolved all issues. • Eileen, not just a translator, but a highly skilled specialist and a kind person, to whom I will be grateful for the rest of my life. She helped resolve a wide range of issues, not just emotional ones, and was always available. She is a rare example of a specialist who treats a patient as their own personal story – with engagement, immense attention, and incredible responsibility. Even without our request, she visited my sister in intensive care, supported her and us, read prayers, and provided tremendous moral support. • Irina, a translator and psychosomatic specialist, who helped us even after the surgery, supporting both the patient and the family. We are also grateful to the International Department for understanding our financial situation and for accommodating us by offering optimal treatment options. At the same time, I consider it crucial to highlight a serious problem we encountered early on. This concerns gastroenterologist Salih Buga. For several days after the patient's admission in critical condition, the necessary endoscopic examination was not performed, despite ongoing bleeding and an unclear cause. The doctor lacked proper involvement and oversight: he did not have full information about the patient's condition, despite her being assigned to him, and he failed to exercise the necessary medical vigilance in a situation requiring urgent and accurate decisions. Only after our decisive initiative did the situation receive the attention it deserved, but it was already too late. We are convinced that with a more timely diagnosis and a more careful approach at this stage, the situation could have developed differently and perhaps would not have resulted in the need for a transplant. I am leaving this comment deliberately because I consider this level of inaction in critical cases unacceptable. I sincerely hope that the clinic's management will pay attention to this and take appropriate measures. Nevertheless, thanks to the high professionalism of the transplant team and the tremendous support of the International Department, my sister received a second chance at life. We thank the Memorial Clinic for saving her life, their professionalism, and their compassion. Translated fromRussian

On the evening of April 24th, we took my nephew to the emergency room. The first thing the secretary at the counter asked was if we had insurance. My nephew couldn't stand and was trembling. Apparently, there was a doctor in the emergency room, but he couldn't get here! After a long wait, the doctor arrived, examined him, and said we should have taken a fever reducer. We told him we had already taken one before he came. The nurse telling us to roll up our sleeves to measure his blood pressure was another fiasco. My nephew was having a panic attack, he had a fever, and measuring his blood pressure shouldn't be that difficult. All we wanted was an IV drip. Again, a long wait, and then the secretary came and said, "These procedures need to be done, it will cost 35,000!" A patient who came through the emergency room, no procedures done, money comes before human health. We have insurance, but we left without getting anything done because of this indifferent and money-focused service. We received neither hotel-level care nor emergency treatment. Even a state hospital would be better than this. Translated fromTurkish

First of all, I would like to thank my esteemed doctor, Dr. Maviş Özge Gedik, for her constant support throughout my pregnancy with her smiling face and sincere attitude, and then all the obstetrics and gynecology reception staff, polyclinic nurses, and patient assistants who provided services during this process. I was admitted to the ward for a normal delivery on April 15th. I am grateful to Ms. Büşra, the head of the delivery room, for her support, which made me feel safe throughout the entire process of my first pregnancy and first delivery, a mix of excitement, stress, and fear. I would also like to thank Ms. Nuray, the midwife who was with me throughout the entire process. I would like to thank Ms. Simge and Ms. Ayyüce for their valuable support during my stay on the 6D floor after the birth, as well as all the 6D nurses whose names I cannot remember but who supported the process, Ms. Tülay, the patient care assistant, and Ms. İlayda, the head nurse of the 6D floor, for organizing the process from our stay to our discharge. Finally, I would like to thank those who took care of my baby's care and check-ups immediately after his birth. A huge thank you to Dr. Pınar Hanım, to Çağla Hanım for her breastfeeding counseling 💜, and to Nurse Yüksel Hanım for her tireless support throughout the night, even though she accompanied the births, and to the entire team of baby nurses (I can't remember their names). Although I work as a nurse in another institution, my husband recommended giving birth at Memorial Hospital, and I haven't regretted that decision since. After the birth, we saw once again how right our decision was. Endless thanks to the entire obstetrics and gynecology team, especially my esteemed professor and the valuable nurses and midwives. 🤍 Translated fromTurkish

I had breast reduction and abdominal skin removal surgery at this clinic. I flew in from another country. Overall, my experience was positive. Airport pickup and hotel transfer were arranged from the very beginning. The next day, I was accompanied for examination and tests. Afterward, the surgery was performed, and I spent two days in the hospital for observation. The hospital provided excellent care: the staff regularly monitored my condition, measured my blood pressure, and provided high-quality meals. A translator was also provided, which greatly facilitated communication. After discharge, I was taken back to the hotel. One day, a staff member visited me and helped with care (hygiene, dressing, and changing clothes), which was important in the first days after the surgery. Finally, a transfer to the airport was arranged. I'm currently in recovery, so it's too early to assess the final results of the surgery. Things to consider: Before the surgery itself, the price was increased compared to the original agreement. This was explained by the specifics of the procedure. Also, after discharge, all additional medication costs were paid separately, and the prices were higher than you could have found on your own. I recommend clarifying all financial details in advance. Furthermore, there was an issue with the airport transfer: instead of the scheduled time, I was picked up an hour later, which meant I had to rush through all the procedures at the airport immediately after the surgery, which was physically challenging. Overall, I was left with a good impression of the level of care and organization. I thank the staff for their support and attention. Translated fromRussian

I showed my son's teeth to the pediatric dentist at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital. The dentist said an emergency procedure was needed for one tooth. We gave our consent, but the child wouldn't stay still during the procedure, so it couldn't be completed. When we finished the procedure, the child was crying. During the hiccups, the child's teeth involuntarily touched the doctor's finger, and the doctor kept saying, "Don't bite, don't bite." When we said this was normal, she snapped at us. We left without knowing how he managed to close his teeth. While my wife and I were discussing never returning, the doctor's assistant, Ms. Melisa, came and started talking. Even though we told her we had already paid and asked her to leave, she continued talking. Her behavior was unbecoming of a healthcare professional. Do not choose Memorial Hospital, and especially not the dentist, Ms. Büşra, for your child's teeth. I also want to add that I later learned the doctor no longer works at this hospital; we found out through another doctor. Translated fromTurkish
