My wife was hospitalized in the General Surgery Department of Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital between June 18 and June 21, 2026. We repeatedly requested that the doctor come and evaluate her, but the doctor never arrived. We were left without proper information, reinsurance, or an appropriate solution. As a result, we lost confidence in the care being provided and decided to leave the hospital and continue her treatment elsewhere.
We expected much higher standards of patient safety, communication, and weekend staffing from a well-known hospital like Memorial. I sincerely hope the hospital management investigates this incident thoroughly so that other patients and their families do not experience the same situation.
