Prof. Doctor İbrahim Kemal ASTARCIOĞLU
Prof. Dr. İbrahim Kemal Astarcıoğlu is a highly respected general surgeon with extensive clinical and academic experience in Turkey.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Ege University and completed his specialization in general surgery. Throughout his career, he has held senior academic and leadership positions, including roles at Dokuz Eylül University in İzmir.
Dr. Astarcıoğlu has substantial international experience, having completed advanced professional training in France at the Paul Brousse Hepatobiliary Center in Paris. He has made significant contributions to the fields of liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery.
Since 2020, he has been practicing as a general surgery specialist at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital in Istanbul, where he is involved in complex surgical procedures, including liver and kidney transplant programs.
He is the author of numerous national and international scientific publications and an active member of professional surgical associations. Dr. Astarcıoğlu is fluent in Turkish, English, and French.
