Doctor Dr.İlker Manavbashi

Dr. Ilker Manavbaşı is the youngest member of The Rhinoplasty Society, which was founded by American aesthetic surgeons. The American Rhinoplasty Society accepts only a limited number of distinguished surgeons from all over the world as members.

He is also a member of the Istanbul Medical Chamber, the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association.

Ilker Manavbaşı was born in Ankara in 1971. After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1999, he passed the TUS exam with the highest scores and received his specialization in the same year from the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Hacettepe University, one of the oldest medical schools in Turkey. In the following years, Ilker Manavbaşı completed six years of internships at Hacettepe University, the University of Kuopio in Finland and Linköping University in Sweden.

The main areas of specialization of the doctor are:

– aesthetic surgery of the nose (rhinoplasty and rhinoseptoplasty);

– mammoplasty, breast augmentation with implants;

– plastic surgery of the face;

– mega-liposuction (more than 5 liters of fat tissue);

– buttock augmentation (bbl).

Dr. Ilker Manavbashi has developed special methods for nose surgeries (rhinoplasty). These methods prevent the collapse of the nose and provide complete restoration of the curvature of the nasal septum. These methods were presented to the public at the symposium on plastic surgery in Italy in 2008. In 2010 and 2011, they were published in world-famous journals on aesthetic surgery.

Publication of the doctor’s work in the most prestigious edition of aesthetic surgery “Aesthetic Plastic Surgery” on the method of “cartilage extension suturing” developed by Dr. Ilker Manavbaşı to prevent disorders affecting the nasal bones.

Ilker Manavbaşı presented his own methods of nose surgery at the 34th National Congress of Plastic Surgery held in Antalya from October 31 to November 4, 2012.

Dr. Ilker Manavbaşı is a regular speaker at many plastic surgery congresses, including the 33rd Congress of Advanced Plastic Surgeons, New York.
