1. Consultation & Choosing the Right Doctor:

While most surgeons I consulted quickly agreed with the areas I wanted liposuction, and some even went a step further by pushing me toward a full BBL to increase the costs, Dr. Gamze did the opposite. She carefully explained the risks, set realistic expectations, and pushed back where she felt it was unsafe or unnecessary.

Her online consultation gave the same level of detail and accuracy I had previously received from two high-end surgeons I had met in person in the UK. She listened closely, was straightforward about what was realistic, and used my photos to highlight what was achievable. This helped me visualise the outcome clearly and gave me full confidence in her judgment.

After deciding to move forward, I met her in person the day before surgery for a face-to-face examination, which only strengthened my confidence in her.

It’s also worth mentioning her assistant, Ms. Ebru. Among the many clinics I contacted, she was by far the most professional. She treated me with respect, answered my questions patiently, and never came across as dismissive or pushy. This made the whole experience feel even more trustworthy and comfortable.

2. The Operation

The operation went smoothly and without any issues. Since I only wanted a small fat transfer to the buttocks to improve the silhouette for a better natural look, we had agreed beforehand that in addition to my thighs fat could be taken from my lower back if needed. However, because she was able to collect enough from the thighs alone, she skipped the back entirely, preventing unnecessary trauma to my body.

She used six entry points in total, three on each upper leg, and each one has left only a tiny scar that is negligible and practically unnoticeable. The placement of these points is also very symmetrical, which reflects her aesthetic eye and meticulous attention to detail.

3. Post-Operation Care

One of the standout aspects of Dr. Gamze’s care is that she requires patients to stay in the hospital for two nights post-surgery, something no other surgeon I consulted offered. This made a huge difference in my recovery as I had round-the-clock nursing support and daily visits from Dr. Gamze herself, who checked on me twice a day and gave clear instructions to the medical staff.

Dr. Gamze and her team also remained fully available to answer questions and support me after discharge. They were consistently thoughtful, caring, and proactive. She recommended starting manual lymphatic drainage massage, which was a game changer in my recovery. Even though my massage therapist was independent and not part of the doctor's medical team, Dr. Gamze stayed involved, reviewed my progress through photos, and gave regular feedback to my massage therapist for better results.

An important detail worth sharing: according to my massage therapist, who has worked with many patients from different surgeons, Dr. Gamze is one of the very few doctors whose patients she has never seen experience post-op complications. That speaks volumes about the quality of her surgical technique and aftercare.
