Op. Dr. Hakki Izmirli completed his primary education at Taksim İlkokulu Elementary School in Istanbul and continued his education at Beyoğlu Ortaokulu High School and Taksim Atatürk High School. He completed his medical education at Istanbul University.

After completing his specialization in plastic and aesthetic surgery at Kocaeli University, Dr. Izmirli completed his compulsory medical service at Derince Research Hospital. He then worked in his own clinic in Sakarya for a year before deciding to continue his career in Istanbul. In 2023, I had liposuction, a tummy tuck, and a breast lift, but unfortunately, the results were disappointing. They supposedly removed fat from my inner thighs, but they said it was edema, and there was no change. The incision made during the tummy tuck is in terrible condition; it's thick skin, and the appearance has further damaged my mental state. They told me I would have to pay for another surgery to fix it, which is unbelievable. They supposedly removed 2.5 liters of fat, and it wasn't very noticeable. My sides are completely exposed, and they said they would fix the stitches during the repair. Regarding the breasts, implants were placed, only enlargement was done. The stitches at the tip of the breasts, which were supposed to be a lift, are awful. I absolutely do not recommend this surgery. I came from Germany and wasted my money on this operation. I went in at 59 kilos and came out with no change whatsoever. The stitches are still the same; I can't even look in the mirror. I wasted my money and wasted my time. I went for liposuction for lymphoma on my legs, and I can't believe they even touched my legs. They rushed me around filling out forms, making me sign them before I could even read the small print. They were like guns, standing over me. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The doctor worked at a large clinic where I had surgery in 2019. Dr. Hakki İzmirli. Unprofessionalism is the order of the day! Had I known how badly the surgery was performed and what the consequences would be for me, I would never have flown to Istanbul! I advise everyone against having surgery with this doctor. The reviews are probably fake! Beware! I looked like I'd been to a butcher after my breast augmentation with implants and a lift! Endless infections and double the costs in Germany! I received no further care afterward, and the worst is yet to come. I had to have my breasts completely redone in Germany in 2024 because many of the symptoms I experienced after the surgery in Turkey with Dr. İzmirli were confirmed! Pain in my limbs and inflammation are a daily occurrence! I then tried to contact Dr. İzmirli by phone for several months. Unfortunately, all my efforts were unsuccessful, as the clinic that performed my surgery, called Amerikan Estetik, was forcibly closed in Istanbul. Eventually, after a year, I threatened to appear publicly on a Turkish television program. Because I am a public figure, only then did the doctor personally respond and provide me with the information I desperately needed for my surgery in Germany. This information consisted solely of how he had surgically removed my nipples in 2019 to prevent the surgeon in Germany from making mistakes and causing my breast tissue to die. I spent a year chasing after the doctor for this information. I never received a report after my surgery. According to the doctor, there is still no report, as the clinic was forcibly closed. Nothing is registered anywhere, preventing German doctors from properly addressing the issue. Overall, I advise everyone against having surgery in Turkey, especially not specifically with this doctor. You'll look like you visited a butcher, not a cosmetic surgeon. Invest in doctors in your area where you'll actually receive proper care afterward. Terrible treatment, mafia-like behavior—it's all about the money, leaving you looking like you've just been to the butcher. To top it all off, the doctor and his secretaries blocked my phone, so I couldn't reach anyone. I'd give zero stars if I could, but since that's not possible, unfortunately, I'll give one! He really loves his jobs and his patients.
In the Beginning he answered ALL my Questions.
During the preparation and shortly after the operation, he was reachable very quickly and always responded as quickly as possible (in Minutes!!). After 3 months, the response time has increased, which is totally fine.
He cares a lot about his patients. Also he gave me the opportunity to evualte my scars, which is absolut amazing. Thats just one Point out of many why i feel safe with my surgery by him and it show’s me that he really care about me and his patients. He always want that im happy.

First of all, I want to say that of all the cosmetic surgeries I've had so far, the most caring doctor I've had, both before and after the surgery, was Dr. Hakki Izmirli. The bbl looked good at first but then I compared to other dr’s work and realised his skills were not great but below average. He left a lot of fat on my upper abdomen, bra line and arm pits. Dr Hakki also left one flank bigger than the other. Didn’t give me the hip expansion I wanted, which I thought comes with the bbl package. I complained about the fat left and I was told by his assistant that I put on weight, that wasn’t the case- I weighed the same if not less than when he finished operating on me. My fault really, as it was poor research on my behalf- Dr Hakki has limited images or videos on insta or social media of his bbl work. I went off limited good reviews on Google but didn’t see many pictures other than the ones Erol from Amerikan Esthetik provided. Overall, I thought it was a poor job and poor craftsmanship.

P.S. I waited over one year to write this review to see if things got better i.e. after swelling went down and final size became visible.

Update: Dear Dr Hakki, as mentioned in my first review, I did contact American Esthetik with my number and name to complain about the fat left on me. Erol’s response was there is nothing he can do other than give me a discount for future operations.

This is not a scam, I have plenty of evidence you conducted my BBL, I put up pictures of my buttocks on RealSelf (6 months post BBL and one year after) the feedback was startling. Read the professional opinions of other plastic surgeons (attached) who believe you have limited technical and artistic skills.

I spoke the truth, you didn’t like it so now you want to threaten me with a libel case? It can’t be much of a case when I have evidence of poor craftsmanship and correspondence between myself and American Esthetik which proves I am entitled to my opinion.
