My mother had several herniated discs in her lower back. She had undergone surgery three times in different years. One of her doctors was Onur Kulaksızoglu. He said, "I removed the herniated disc. The nerve was bruised from compression. I saved it." But he also said, "The pain won't go away, don't expect her to get much better." Perhaps that's all that could be done with the technology of 2015-2016. We don't know. My mother's lower back got worse day by day, but she probably accepted the pain and the recurring herniated discs, thinking nothing could be done anymore. Then, while looking for a solution for her knees, we went to Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Bilgen at Medikabil. As soon as he saw my mother, probably because of her stooped gait, he said, "Let's solve the lower back problem first. Then we'll look at her knees."
