On May 19, 2021, two and a half months ago, I had a robotic hip prosthesis implanted for congenital hip dislocation. I am very grateful to Dr. Ömer for his efforts; I am eagerly awaiting the day I can walk properly. I wanted to write about my situation again. Today is February 11, 2024. On May 19th, it will be three years since my surgery, and I still limp and my leg is deformed. Don't let those who don't have pain believe the hopeful words of doctors and have surgery like I did 😥😭😭 I'm editing my comment again today; it's been over four years and I still limp when I walk. Don't have surgery, don't waste your money. Translated fromTurkish

My daughter had comminuted fractures in her leg. After a partial cast was applied at the university hospital and she was discharged, her pain never subsided, so we found Dr. Ömer on recommendation. Following a two-hour operation, my daughter was able to stand up the next day and there was no trace of her previous pain. Thank you so much, Dr. Ömer. Thank you for your knowledge, experience, and dedication... Translated fromTurkish

I would like to describe the process we experienced between 22:00 and 23:45 on Tuesday, March 5th.
Please check your recording system or camera system.

I declare that I will share my complaint with the hospital management and the Ministry of Health.

We have been customers of the private Medicabil Nilüfer Hospital for 12 years. We are generally satisfied with their services. We took my daughter to the Emergency Room because she had a high fever. Assuming it was a hospital we knew, we requested an emergency IV drip and a check-up.

Dr. Hüsamettin ALTUN is an extremely relaxed doctor.
While 10 people were writhing in the waiting room, the beds were empty. We laid my daughter there because she was constantly shivering. A nurse came and measured her temperature. Her temperature was 39. They said there was a long queue and we had to wait, so we waited. But we waited for 1.5 hours.

Dr. Dr. Hüsamettin ALTUN was extremely calm and walked around with his hands in his pockets. He came right up to us and said he would see us when it was our turn. He went to his room with his hands in his pockets. We said, "At least give us an IV." He said, "Just open a case and wait." After opening the case, they said they would be giving an IV to another patient who was being examined 1.5 hours later and wanted to move us from the emergency room ward to the waiting room. Yes, it's like a joke. They said a child with a 39-degree fever should wait on a chair. This is a private hospital, imagine that. We canceled the case we had opened and left the hospital. It wasn't actually extremely busy, but the doctor's examination time was over 20 minutes, I think.

Everyone, from the nurses to all the patients, was tense. I definitely do not recommend it.
And I hope I don't encounter another doctor like him. I will never go to the emergency room of this hospital again.

I kindly request that my complaint be taken into consideration. Translated fromTurkish

My father-in-law broke both his hips at the ages of 83 (2019) and 85 (2021), and I am so glad that I first found Dr. Ömer in 2019. Every doctor who saw the prosthesis he used in the surgery said "Wow!". I don't understand those who make negative comments. My mother's ankle has been problematic since her youth, I took her to Dr. Ömer, he said that surgery could make it better or worse, he told me to manage as long as I could, he wasn't driven by money. My wife broke her hand in the middle of the night, we asked the hospital switchboard to send a message to Dr. Ömer, he made the necessary arrangements, we were called to the hospital, preparations were made, and she was taken into surgery... I don't know what you are thinking when you make negative comments, but remember that he is a rare doctor and the best hip specialist in Türkiye. Thank you for being there, Dr. Ömer. For two years, we've seen countless doctors for my mother's knee pain. On recommendation, we went to Dr. Omer, who said there was nothing wrong with her knees but a problem with her hip, and performed hip replacement surgery. It's only been a week, and my mother could run if we let her. First God, then Dr. Omer. No one should hesitate or be swayed by him. Translated fromTurkish

Hello Professor Dr. Ömer Faruk Bilgen, I was overjoyed to see you in person when I saw one of your posts recently. I first met you in 1991 after an unfortunate traffic accident. Sadly, my left knee was severely damaged. After a long period of treatment and 17 years spent using crutches, I was able to walk again in June 2008 with the prosthesis you fitted during my 5th surgery. I continue my life actively, wearing shoes that correct the 6 cm shortening caused by bone loss. I would also like to mention the satisfaction of four of my friends who underwent hip replacement surgeries on my recommendation. I have such an active life that I have been serving as the President of the Bursa Branch of the Turkish Association for the Disabled for nine years as a volunteer. Dear Professor, my message is a bit long, but I wanted to tell you how happy I am to continue my life. In short, Professor, I am grateful to you. May God grant you a long and healthy life. I wish you ease in your work. Sincerely, Translated fromTurkish
