Dr. Hakan Gök is a doctor with excellent communication skills, good intentions, and, in my opinion, a true expert in his field (though I don't have the knowledge to fully assess this). He provides very detailed and comprehensive answers to your questions, is very attentive to his patients, and has a friendly demeanor. He performed my inguinal hernia surgery on December 2nd, 2025. Exactly two months have passed since then, and I am very grateful. I didn't experience any pain the night before the surgery, but apparently, according to hospital regulations, they gave me a mild painkiller. I was discharged the next morning without needing any further painkillers, and I didn't need any at home either. Of course, you feel a few minor things after surgery; I had a trip I postponed, but I quickly returned to normal within days. It could even be considered a chance to show off to your loved ones. Meeting Dr. Hakan Gök saved our lives. My wife had inguinal hernia surgery 1.5 years ago, but she spent that time in increasingly severe pain. Even bending down to brush her teeth caused her to lie down for two hours. Her daily life was greatly affected by this. The surgeon who performed the first operation couldn't resolve the situation, so a nerve block was performed by an algologist. That didn't help either. She was examined by several general surgeons, a neurosurgeon, and a neurologist, and given medication. However, her condition worsened day by day. It was thought that the mesh placed in place might be causing the problem, but since it was a difficult operation, no one suggested removing the mesh, and in the end, it was decided that she should just endure it as long as she could. When I learned that Dr. Hakan Gök was an expert in hernias, we contacted him. He examined her in great detail, reviewed all the X-rays, test results, etc., we had. He determined that the mesh had been folded during placement, that it wasn't covering the hernia, and that this was causing the pain.
