I had breast implant surgery with Dr. Mehmet Uzuner at Nişantaşı Hospital on November 5, 2025. The operation was very successful, and the recovery process was as quick and comfortable as the operation itself. I went for a check-up on the fifth day and then resumed my normal life.
On January 26, 2025, I had rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, with Dr. Songül Dursun. From the initial examination, she made me feel incredibly skilled. She understood the problem at a glance. Similarly, they were very professional on the day of the surgery. I was a little apprehensive and postponed the surgery date, but I regretted it later because there was absolutely no such thing; my face really recovered in a week. I will go for my third check-up next week, and I adore her; she really takes great care of me. About a week ago, I underwent a cosmetic procedure at Nişantaşı Hospital, performed by Mehmet Uzuner's team, which included BBL (Body Lymphatic Drainage), 360-degree liposuction, tummy tuck, and breast lift, for €7,300. Although BBL was explicitly included in my package, the doctor decided against it before the operation, stating that it would be excessive and aesthetically unappealing. Despite this, he had me sign all the forms and documents, and as a result, the BBL was never performed.

When I requested a refund for the BBL, they initially claimed it was a "gift," then offered a lymphatic drainage massage instead. I refused this. They then offered €500; despite my stating that this amount was unrealistic considering the procedure performed (or not performed), they also suggested an additional tour of Istanbul. I was in no condition to go on a tour while experiencing severe post-operative pain, and essentially my only request was a refund of the fee I was entitled to.

While still having drains in my body during the post-operative period, I had to go out on the third day for procedures such as police visits, notary appointments, tax office visits, and passport translation, which was extremely difficult for me both physically and psychologically. Despite this, no satisfactory solution was offered regarding the BBL fee. The clinic tried to appease me by saying "we will give you whatever you want" during the consultation; they even offered the Istanbul tour as a "gift." However, half an hour after leaving the clinic, I was called and informed that only a €500 refund could be issued.

Since the BBL procedure was included in the package but was never performed, I demand a refund of at least €2,000 for this service. I request a fair refund of the fee for the BBL procedure that was not performed, out of the total €7,300 paid, and that the hardship I experienced during this process be taken into consideration.

I recently stayed at Nisantasi hospital following my nose job at the start of the month. My little suite was incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff were very caring and attentive throughout the night. There was a slight language barrier but I had no problem expressing that in was in pain, needed my dressing changed or needed water topped up.

I had a companion with me who was able to stay in hospital over night with me and was also provided with dinner and breakfast the following day.

My daughter had surgery at this hospital and stayed overnight. The ward nurses were very friendly and polite, but the sheets, bedspread, pillow, and duvet in the room were terrible. There were hairs in the pillow, the bedspread had changed color from white to yellow and had mascara marks on it, and the duvet we took out of the cupboard was bright yellow and had bloodstains in various places. The medical equipment used in the post-operative room was faulty; they brought a new one. When we came to the room after the anesthesia, they said they would bring a warm air blower for our patient who was cold, but they didn't. When we asked for one, they said they used them in the operating room and couldn't bring one to the room because they had only a few. The hospital was very neglected and inadequate. I would like to share my opinions regarding my treatment process at Nişantaşı Hospital.

First of all, I would like to specifically state that I am extremely satisfied with my surgery process and the medical staff. The doctors' knowledge, approach, and professionalism are truly top-notch. I felt safe before and after the surgery, and I thank all the doctors who contributed to this.

However, I unfortunately cannot say the same for the ward services and nursing services. I observed a serious deficiency in ward services and shortcomings in the nursing staff, both in terms of numbers and personal care and attention. It was frankly upsetting to see such deficiencies in a hospital located in Nişantaşı, one of the most prestigious areas on the European side of Istanbul.

I believe that this hospital, which is strong in medical terms, should also achieve the same quality standard in patient care services and ward organization. I believe that with improvements in these areas, the hospital will reach a much better point.

I was there with my friend, they were all lovely, couldn’t have done enough for us both. Clean and tidy, rooms cleaned daily multiple times. They kept checking in with me whilst she was in surgery. The nurses were brilliant and the night nurses made sure she was fine every hour. Food was lovely also, all fresh and they didn’t forget about me I got meals three times a day. You do have to get your own hot drink's, but the cold water tank does hot water for hot drinks. If you’re English bring English breakfast tea as they don’t have it here. I would like to share my complaint about anesthesiologist Kairatbek Mizamov.
He has a biased approach towards patients and behaves in a very rude manner.

We came from abroad for surgery, but we were never informed that dinner should be avoided. Right after dinner, they asked us to have a blood test, and naturally, the sugar level was high. Based solely on this result, the doctor refused to perform anesthesia, and therefore the surgery was canceled.

We had blood tests again for the next 4 days, and all the results were normal. However, the doctor's rude behavior and communication style greatly disturbed us. This attitude, unfortunately, seriously damages the reputation of the clinic. The doctor, relying only on this result, refused to administer anesthesia, and as a result, the surgery was canceled.

I had an eyebrow transplant at this hospital with a professional named AyŞe Gündem.
I am Brazilian and I tried to choose a good professional to make my dream come true, but it turned into a nightmare.
I arrived at the hospital at the agreed time. They gave me a contract with about 20 pages to sign. The contract was written in English, and I am not fluent in it, so I asked for some time to read it, translate it, and understand what was written. Then AyŞe Gündem took the contract from my hand. She didn't give me time to read it. She took me to another floor where the team was waiting for me to perform the procedure. She handed the contract to a doctor. He briefly said that the contract was just technical information and some information that had already been given to me. He answered some questions, so I signed it because I was already there. I asked for a copy and was told that they would send it to me by email along with the payment receipt. I did not receive either. I went through all the negotiations with the professional AyŞe Gündem and half of what she promised me was not fulfilled.
The package included some items after the procedure, such as all post-operative medications, PRP application, lotion and support for a period of 12 months.
During the transplant, the doctor removed a piece of my scalp to remove the follicles, he stitched it up and we continued with the procedure.
I left the hospital without any bandages on my head, with the wound covered only by my hair, my shirt all covered in blood because they didn't take the time to give me an apron or something to keep my clothes from getting dirty, I wasn't given the medications as agreed (I had to buy them out of my own pocket), the PRP application to help with growth wasn't applied, they didn't give me the post-operative lotion and what about the support? My head wound got infected, I sent a message and only got a response 24 hours later, this is because I sent it more than once, I had to go to a pharmacy for help. I sent a message to AyŞe Gündem asking for what was agreed more than once, she replied saying that she did not give me the medicines and what was agreed because I did not pay the full amount, something completely untrue because if I had not paid how would I have carried out the procedure? Now I am here praying that there will be no complications because if I need support she will only respond when she wants to

The hospital is good, but 3 years ago I had liposuction with Dr. Aykut. A year later, because the results weren't good, Dr. Aykut agreed to a revision surgery. Since I came from abroad, going back was expensive. That's not the problem; thinking that everyone makes mistakes, I had surgery again at the hospital in January 2024. And after that, I experienced disappointment. Because of his mistake, he said I needed another leg lift and demanded another fee. I paid that fee, thinking it would be good and clean. Not only did he leave the indentation inside my leg and the indentation above my belly button exactly the same, but he also added fat to my buttocks against my will. And worst of all, the leg lift scars are not under my bikini area, but outside the incision scars, to the point where I can't wear a bikini anymore! Besides, I wasn't excessively overweight; they were just going to remove some fat from my stomach and inner thighs. So I didn't have a sagging belly.
It's a complete disappointment. Now, for months, his assistant has been asking for pictures and explaining. Then they said the doctor would get back to me, but weeks have passed and I haven't received a reply from his assistant. I wrote to Ms. Saadet, but received no reply. Dr. Aykut, who responded on Instagram, never replied again. I called the hospital several times, also saying the doctor would call back, and to this day, no one has.
I've never seen such irresponsibility. I also don't understand those who praise such doctors and still allow them to work in a hospital like Nişantaşı. I was deceived by the hospital's name and had surgery there. I trusted the doctors and the hospital administration. But I will complain about Dr. Aykut and the hospital to the Ministry of Health. I don't want him to cause disappointment to other people. His medical license should be revoked. I've put everything aside. As a doctor, a doctor should get back to the patient. He's good until he gets the money, but his indifference to the bad consequences and his refusal to answer phone calls clearly show how little he cares about his patients. If he thinks the matter will be closed because I'm abroad, he'll see the consequences and have to face them. I will also complain about that hospital to the Ministry of Health. Very bad experience, I had to have multiple blood transfusions. I developed an awful infection. I chose to come home instead of staying at this hospital like they suggested. The damage was already done so I chose to come home. I immediately went to my doctor and I was admitted to the hospital on the spot I was there for 10 days and I had to have multiple surgeries to remove dying tissue and a portion of my stomach. I was unable to work for 5 months. I will be misshaped and have terrible scars for the rest of my life. I heard from this Turkish hospital 1 time since then. It has been over a year now. No kind of apology, compensation or anything
