I've never seen a private hospital like this in my life. We had to go to the emergency room at night because we wanted to try it since my private health insurance was valid there. But it was definitely my last experience. I went to see the doctor because I was sick, and I specifically told him I was allergic to Avile and that I was feeling nauseous. Despite this, he had Avile added to my IV drip and never gave me any medication for my nausea. When I asked the nurse if there was Avile in the IV, she said the doctor had it put in, and that's why I'm paying for it. I immediately had it changed and got extra medication for my nausea. Muge Gundogdu treated my daughter for 7 months, from October 2024 to April 2025. Diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma (bone cancer). We completed all treatments at the clinic. The doctor has no experience treating Ewing's sarcoma. She does not admit her guilt and quit her job in Koç. The clinic did not conduct a consultation and wanted to give a discount on repeat treatment; there were metastases in the surgical area, ruining our child. The head physician did not apologize or even call Muge Gundogdu. Doctors should be stripped of their licenses and such clinics should be closed. The protocol was incorrect. A stem cell transplant was not performed. Bone marrow histology was not performed, the doctor did not prescribe targeted therapy to prevent relapse and metastases. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL We trusted this hospital with my uncle’s life, and they completely betrayed us. We were told one price before the surgery. One clear number. That’s what we agreed to. That’s what we traveled for. That’s what we financially prepared for. We spent thousands just getting there, thinking we were dealing with professionals who had basic honesty. Then the surgery was done and suddenly the price changed. Not a small change. Not a minor adjustment. It nearly tripled. The final amount ended up around $150,000. After the procedure was finished. After they had us stuck. And when we started asking questions? Silence. Calls ignored. No real answers. Just excuses and avoidance.
My uncle died shortly after leaving this hospital. So now we are grieving someone we love, while also dealing with crushing medical bills that were never clearly explained or agreed to. We were vulnerable. We relied on what we were told. And it feels like that vulnerability was used against us. You do not treat people like walking bank accounts during a medical emergency.
We are angry. We are heartbroken. And no family should ever go through this. If you are considering coming here, DO NOT. Protect yourself.

On February 25, 2026, at 4:30 PM, we went to Bahcelievler Memorial Hospital's Pediatric Cardiology Department for an appointment on behalf of my son, Hazar Atiz. We came to this hospital because another hospital said there might be a heart murmur in the child's heart. During the application process, they asked if we had insurance, and we said we had HD supplementary insurance. They said okay and waited. After a short time, they directed us to the examination. After the examination, we returned to the patient registration department to get our ID, and they said, "We apologize, we don't have an agreement with this insurance company, you need to pay 15,000 TL." We objected, saying they should have told us this from the beginning and asked how they could direct us to the examination without pre-authorization. They said it was their mistake but they could help us a little with the price. They said 10,000 TL and they could consider it. We didn't accept that, and they said, "If that's the case, we won't give you your ID." We contacted our insurance company to find out what we could do, and they told us that this hospital constantly uses the same method to victimize patients, and they receive many complaints, so we absolutely shouldn't pay anything. We requested our ID, but they still refused. Our ID is still at the hospital; they have victimized us. Because we don't have the ID, we can't take our child to another hospital.
