I made an appointment with Dr. Gökçe İpek Aytok, who is in the obstetrics and gynecology department at Nilüfer Medicabil during the week. When I called, I requested an appointment at 7:45 PM, but it was given at 7:30 PM. I said, "Okay," as you know, because we work, evening traffic, etc., I'm trying to get there in a hurry. Just before 24 minutes, I was called by the doctor's assistant. She politely asked, "Will you come?" "Yes, I'm on my way, but I might be about 5 minutes late," I said. She politely said, "Okay." Less than a minute later, I was called again by the doctor's assistant, and with the same courtesy, I was asked how long it would take to arrive. Another minute passed, and I was called again. The doctor wanted to see you. I don't understand what kind of service this is. If you don't accept patients at that time, why are you making appointments? You're putting our assistant under suspicion. I'm in the service industry, too. If you're late, you get a 15-minute option. The lady keeps calling me asking when you'll be there. If you don't want to, please don't do this. I would never choose this job. I was going to go for the first time, but I won't go anymore. Translated fromTurkish

Here are my thoughts about Medicabil Hospital: We are Kudret's patients. My grandmother had surgery for spinal canal stenosis. We were very pleased with Kudret and his assistant. They are very attentive, friendly, and compassionate. However, I can't say the same for the hospital. Our staff do their jobs very well, but the nurses are truly indifferent. You say something or ask for something, and it takes an hour to respond. They never do what you want. We were truly astonished. Translated fromTurkish

We were completely dissatisfied with the treatment administered by pediatrician Faruk Fida because... We've been seeing the doctor for routine follow-ups for the past three years since our daughter was born. For the past five months, we've been admitted to the doctor with a urinary tract infection. Each time, we were treated with antibiotics. We even had to be hospitalized for fever and elevated CRP, and a urine culture wasn't even requested the day he was admitted. He dismissed our question about whether a urine culture was necessary and started antibiotics again. However, our daughter's symptoms didn't improve, and five months later, we decided to consult a pediatric nephrologist. The culture test revealed bacteria resistant to the antibiotics we'd been using for five months. We'd been using antibiotics for five months without any real progress in treatment. The pain we and our child are experiencing is compounded by the psychological distress they've endured. Unfortunately, this doctor is hesitant to even request a urine culture. Don't go there. This is definitely the wrong choice of doctor. Translated fromTurkish

I went to the hospital section of the Medicabil Nilüfer branch because of a severe headache. They put me on a pain-relieving serum. When the serum ran out, the nurse removed the needle and left. She didn't even say, "Your procedure is over, you can go." So I continued to wait. After 15 minutes, I asked her exactly why I was waiting, and she said, "If you're okay, you can go." She didn't check my blood pressure either when I arrived or when I left. I asked the doctor if I thought my blood pressure was high and could you check it, but she said the nurse would take care of it, and nothing of the sort happened. Then I asked, "Could you take my blood pressure before I go?" She took it twice and couldn't get it, which is possible. After taking it twice, she said, "Okay, no problem, you can go." I asked what my blood pressure was exactly, and she said, "It's not too high." I asked, "Could you tell me how much it is?" He said, "Your blood pressure is actually high, and we'll give you sublingual pills." The lady who had just told me you could go, after a moment, said, "Sit down, we'll give you sublingual pills." When I asked why she was doing something like that, she said, "I shouldn't have told you. I didn't tell you because I thought hearing about your blood pressure would make you even more stressed." That was a completely illogical response. If my blood pressure was so high, why did you try to send me home twice? And even though I suspected it, you didn't even take my blood pressure? Afterward, I spoke to the doctor and told him I was very nervous and that the nurse was behaving this way. He said, "I was being examined, and they should have waited to hear from me before administering the medication." Okay, so he might say, "I'll make you wait," which I did talk to the doctor about a few minutes later. But the nurse preferred to send the patient home, as she was in a position to be given sublingual pills. Furthermore, she didn't even talk to the doctor when she said she'd give them. Because everything unfolded in two seconds. As I continued with my questions, her answer changed. My blood pressure is supposedly 17/10, and I'm not even sure about that. Furthermore, the nurse said she'd make you wait for half an hour after giving the pills and then take your blood pressure again. The doctor said there's no need to wait; go ahead. And I went home, all nervous. I've never experienced such incompetent service, with the doctor and nurse so clueless. And this is a private hospital. Even though I told them I suspected my blood pressure was high, they sent me home without taking any measurements. I would never recommend the emergency room at the Medicabil Nilüfer branch. Even 1 is too much for the lack of planning and incompetence here. They tell us to be here at 7am for a 7-year-old child's operation, which they say won't take 5 minutes. We arrive, and they tell us the plan is at 10am, leaving us waiting for 3 hours. We even get rejected by private health insurance because a ridiculous procedure description was entered. It's an extremely bad hospital, built on ripping people off. My wife got sick, we went for a checkup and tests, paid a total of 17,000 TL, then the doctor prescribed an IV drip, and we went to the hospital. We paid a total of 1,350 TL for the medications and IV drip. They then wrote a prescription, and the IV drip and IV drip was stuck. We were told it would stay for 3 days until the IV drips were finished. We bought the medications and IV drips from the pharmacy. We went back the next day to get the IV drip, so there was no need to open one. We also bought the medications from the pharmacy. They told us we had to pay 1,850 TL. The day before, the medications from the hospital were 1,350 TL. When we brought the medications, we brought 1,850 TL. The bottom of the absurdity then came to our summer house in Çanakkale. We had two IV drips left. We went to a private hospital here and they only wanted 250 TL. Of course, there will be a fee, but that's not what MEDICABIL charges. They're completely ripping off people in need. SHAME ON YOURSELVES, OPPORTUNITY-BASED GUYS. Translated fromTurkish

I made an appointment with Dr. Eda Haşal, a dermatologist, weeks in advance, at 3:30 PM. I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment and began waiting. However, I had to wait another half hour because hospital staff had opened their records and were examined before the patients with appointments. The doctor's secretary prioritized those she knew without looking at the appointment screen. I believe that necessary action should be taken and patients should not be subjected to such inconvenience. Translated fromTurkish

We went to the emergency room because of the pain that continued throughout the night. Dr. Tural was very attentive. He told me I needed to see a general surgeon. I left with a painkiller. He informed me about the hospitalization process and everything went very smoothly and successfully. We stayed overnight and then left. Thank you to Dr. Tural for his attention. Keep up the good work. Translated fromTurkish

A nurse from the hospital staff attended the birth. We ended up using the hospital with my own private midwife and doctor. What kind of indifference is this? When the hospital midwife was asked if we were going to the birth and wouldn't she come, she said her shift was over and I'd leave. July 31, 2024 Translated fromTurkish

The nurses don't know how to draw blood, so they call the next day and say, "Your blood test results didn't come back because we couldn't collect it properly. Come back to the hospital and donate blood." Don't go; you'll ruin your money. I don't even want to mention the doctors. Translated fromTurkish

I went to the emergency room because of a small splinter in my throat. The foreign doctor on duty referred me to an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist without even examining me (the examination fee was taken). It was abusive treatment, to say the least. When I tried to object, I was scolded by the doctor. Later, a nurse removed the splinter from my throat at another private hospital. Even public hospitals are much better. Don't go unless you absolutely have to. Translated fromTurkish

First, let me clarify that I didn't go for treatment; I visited a patient. I don't know how the doctors and nurses' relationship is. Before writing this review, I looked at other reviews, and unfortunately, many people don't recommend this place. This is a very sad situation. Our patient and his family left satisfied. It was prayer time. I asked a staff member if there was a prayer room. There were separate prayer rooms for men and women on the ground floor, and ablution facilities were clean and hygienic. There was no parking problem. I based my rating on these criteria. May God grant all our patients a speedy recovery. Translated fromTurkish

I have a lot of complaints about how my mother died in intensive care a year and a half ago, after being told she was getting better, she was taken to the ward, but when that didn't happen, she was taken back to intensive care and my mother died. I was receiving treatment for a year, and now I've come to my senses. You didn't even provide a report. How did my mother die after getting a ventilator and saying she was getting better? I want a report one by one. Everything is showing on her pulse 5 days before her death. She died on the 30th. There are no results for the 5 days. My mother's name is Enbiya Karabaş. She passed away on the morning of 30th December 2023. I want a full statement and a report, otherwise I will complain everywhere. Translated fromTurkish

On Mother's Day, we brought my mother to Gemlik State Hospital because her blood oxygen levels weren't rising (we brought her in the 80s) and her carbon dioxide levels weren't falling (we brought her in the 60s), and there was no room in the intensive care unit. We admitted her to the intensive care unit 1 on the first day, but on the second day, they couldn't get her levels back to normal, and because she was getting worse, they admitted her to intensive care unit 3 for resuscitation. Her doctor, Merlin, stated that our mother wasn't staying still and her levels weren't returning to normal. The next day, the situation was the same. My mother, who was constantly receiving air and medication, silently told us, "Bring me my pajamas, bring me money, I'm going to escape this nudist camp." They advised us that her values needed to normalize for her to recover, and that she should be patient and help the doctors. The nurses were constantly warning us, so we told her we had to leave (they were absolutely right about this). But even while we were there, we were saddened when the nurse wearing her mask snapped the elastic and let it go. My mother, who I felt for the first time, felt abandoned, even scorned, close to death, and said, "Okay, son, I'll see you if I don't die." She waved me off, seemingly desperately, as if to say, "Okay, son. I'll see you if I don't die." That same night, they put her on a defibrillator due to an arrhythmia. They said they had brought her heart rate back to normal, adding, "But in such cases, brain damage can occur. We'll have an MRI and report her condition." They said they had put her to sleep and also intubated her. From that day on. We never heard good news from our mother. We returned home from the hospital intensive care unit doors, where we went every day, with tears in our eyes. MRIs taken two days apart came back negative, and we were told she had small blood clots in some areas of her brain. Initially put to sleep, our mother didn't wake up a few days later, even after the sedatives were discontinued, and she fell into a coma :( We visited our mother's doctor, Merlin, daily, and tried to get information about her condition. I can say she's a very kind woman, but I think only the anesthesiologist's colleagues can tell us how competent she is. Unfortunately, I observed that the hygiene fluid at the intensive care entrance wasn't replenished from the first day to the last, despite me reminding her twice. I even observed that many relatives of patients entering the intensive care unit weren't wearing masks (if there's a camera somewhere, you'll see it). Despite our efforts to get meaningful answers during our visits, my mother couldn't close her open eyes. She sometimes swallowed heavily. She constantly moved her foot, and when we put our hand under it, she pulled. When we discussed these with her doctor, she said they were all unconscious, automatic movements, as if they were warning us to die. He was preparing... While we were searching for something to hold on to, he seemed to be politely saying, "Get ready." It shouldn't be my job to consider what a doctor who doesn't believe their patient will recover can and can't give them. I believe we must first believe in something ourselves so we can approach success in that endeavor. On May 23rd, I went to the hospital as usual. My mother's hands were covered in blood, and even the floor. Even during the visit, the staff didn't wipe the blood off the floor and hands, exacerbating our pain by showing it to us. Is this normal or negligent? I leave it to the hospital administration to assess. That day, when my mother didn't even respond to the warnings from under her feet, I shared this with our doctor and received the answer that she was sound asleep. If this reaction was unconscious before, why wasn't she reacting the way she does every day today, since she was unconscious? I think we need to ask someone who knows. The next-to-last day, the doctor told me that my mother's CRP was very high (200) and that she was fighting to keep our patient alive. And the next morning, our mother passed away. On June 7th, I fell off my motorcycle and came to the hospital. I had fractures in my back. Everything was fine, but the nurse, Hatice Ayçiçek, was very rude and very harsh. Pediatrician Faruk Fidan is the worst, most irrelevant doctor I've ever seen. He answers every question with a question. We went to see my daughter because she was constipated, but he didn't even examine her. He only prescribed an ultrasound because I requested it. He didn't even prescribe medication. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. And it's a private hospital. It's a shame your money isn't going to go to waste. Translated fromTurkish

On May 31, 2025, my wife experienced numbness and paralysis in her right arm and fingers, and we urgently went to the emergency room at Medicabil Hospital. Following the emergency doctor's attention and consultation with other doctors, tests revealed a blood clot in her brain and a blockage in her cerebral arteries. Neurologist Nilgün Balcı, despite it being a Saturday, left her home, came to the emergency room, saw the MRI results, and immediately admitted her. We stayed in the neurology department for a week. The nurses, cleaning ladies, and healthcare professionals were constantly checking in on us. We felt like we were living with family. Their clean and friendly faces were truly healing. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone involved in the hospital administration, especially to our doctor, Nilgin. If they had neglected the emergency room, my wife might have suffered a stroke or even a brain hemorrhage. We extend our endless love, respect, and regards to the doctor who was in the emergency room that day. Translated fromTurkish
