First of all, this is a general piece of advice not just for this reader, but for all readers: don't go there, especially not to places that advertise implants and veneers. Also, don't go to any doctor who doesn't prioritize academics. Instead of a treatment that another doctor could solve with a filling, they'll leave you with a world of veneers and implants.

I went through a very bad experience. I had a preliminary examination with Dr. Furkan. My first impression was that he was caring and well-intentioned, so I decided to proceed with the treatment trusting him. However, I was shocked by what I saw after the treatment.

He said there was bleeding in the tooth where the root canal was treated, and therefore he couldn't finish the treatment that day. Up to this point, everything was normal. But after getting up from the chair, instead of filling the huge gap in my mouth with composite-type filling material, he just filled it with cotton and sent me away. When I asked, "Won't there be a problem? It will remain open, how can I stay like this?", he said, "You won't experience any problems."

Moreover, the treatment was done on Thursday, and he wasn't there until Monday. So, he made me wait like this for 5 days, including the day I would return. He only told me this after I got up from the treatment chair. A well-intentioned doctor, instead of making the patient wait for so many days, could have said, "A second session may be necessary for these treatments, I won't be here for a few days. Come on Monday so you don't have any problems with the process."

That same day, I had to remove the cotton swab because of the pressure it created. This time, even breathing caused intense pain in my tooth. Desperate, after many phone calls, I was forced to go back to the clinic in the evening. Dr. Furkan tried to apply a temporary filling to my tooth without even using a numbing spray. I was in so much pain I was almost rolling on the floor, I tried hard not to cry, but I couldn't help but cry. Believe me, I'm not exaggerating the pain I experienced; if someone else had to go through what I went through, that person would definitely have raised hell there.

After four days that felt like torture, I went for the remaining treatment on Monday. After the treatment, he made my tooth quite short. My jaw wasn't sitting properly. At the first examination, I told him I was having trouble swallowing due to previous incorrect treatments. When he made the filling too short, even though I said, "This won't work, I'll have a lot of problems," he didn't listen. He gave reasons like, "Your tooth will break." If that was the case, he should have told me before starting the treatment.

After that, things got even more complicated. I went to the clinic two more times on different days. Instead of lengthening that tooth, he shortened my other teeth. If you ask him, he'll say, "I only did micron-level filing," but in reality, he removed a quarter of the back surface of three of my teeth. He also filed down my other teeth, albeit less than those two.

As a result, my mild swallowing problem worsened. It feels like I'm going to choke while eating. The muscles on one side were so affected that the pain reached my ear. Imagine having a muscle on one side of your neck that's practically gone, with a void in its place. One side is a tight muscle, the other side is loose. This jaw misalignment is very bothersome; it affects the neck and torso muscles. It even affects my breathing while I sleep at night. Like sleep apnea, I suddenly stop breathing and wake up in a panic. What I've written here is actually a very brief summary of what I've experienced.

The most upsetting thing was the inconsistency. To avoid lengthening one tooth, he shortened my other teeth, and now that tooth he didn't lengthen is in direct contact with my lower tooth. If this was going to be the result, why did he cause me so much trouble?

Secondly, he later said that tooth needed a crown. If a crown was necessary, why did you do a filling?
Now I've had to have procedures done on the tooth he worked on, as well as the other teeth he manipulated. I've entered a very difficult period; the effects of each procedure are only visible after a week because the muscles reshape themselves according to the situation.
