On August 29, 2025, I tried to reach Başak at the hospital, but the staff assured me she would get back to me. However, three days later, despite repeated calls and promises from Başak, I received no response. Consequently, I underwent a successful operation at a different hospital. I really don't even want to give this a rating. You don't even deserve a star. I've come to this hospital for examination several times. You're not allowed in the emergency department; you're directed directly to the outpatient clinics. After being directed to the outpatient clinics, you have to wait a while. I've experienced this twice. Today, I went to the emergency department after vomiting. I wasn't examined again. I was directed to the internal medicine department. When I went to the internal medicine receptionist, they told me their doctors were on leave, but the receptionist downstairs had already sent me upstairs, saying they were waiting there. My sister was diagnosed with lung cancer, and the surgeon we saw referred us to this hospital for chemotherapy and radiation therapy before surgery. We met with Dr. Sinemis Çelik to schedule chemotherapy. We gave him the documents we had. My sister's PET report showed metastases in her adrenal gland. Although he saw this, he said it wasn't visible on the MRI and ignored it. His doctor, who assisted him every week before chemotherapy, reviewed the tests and listened to my sister's complaints. However, he said he could have it checked after treatment and ignored it. Of course, since they are doctors, we trusted him.!! My sister's treatment was finished at this hospital. We then went back to our surgeon for an x-ray, and the mass in her kidney, which hadn't been noticed on the x-ray, had grown from 7 mm to 33 x 35 cm. When our surgeon said, "There are metastases outside the lungs. This kind of surgery can't be done, what does your oncologist say?", our world fell apart! We went back to Dr. Sinemis and explained the situation to him, as if nothing had happened. He said, "Yes, such cancerous masses can show up on the PET scan, but not on the MRI!" While he was saying it with his mouth even though he knew it didn't show up in the MRI, he never emphasized it and said that it wasn't in the MRI but it showed up in the PET scan and we should focus on it!! And since he realized the situation, he stood up for us to leave the room as soon as possible. At that time, when my sister was already upset and asked, "What will happen now?", "Is there no treatment?", the doctor said YES with his back turned!! For a cancer patient they recommended 10days radiotherapy and asked to pay thousand dollars which we did and then finished the treatment in 5 days saying that was only needed 5 days. Not recommended, they are ripping the money from a cancer patient!!!! I regret we came to this hospital, as we were advised regarding the prices 1 week ahead, so we were counting on it. But when we checked out they charges us 6,000$ for 3 days and without chemo! The oncologist consultation supposed to be 110$, but they charged us 300$ and we paid for all 3 days 900$! I was genuinely shocked when I saw the bill. 3 days on uncomfortable sofa at the clinic next to the patient cost for 2 of us 16,000 lira ( approx. 500$) which is insane to pay for a greasy food for cancer patients and the shower drainages to the room, smelly washroom, careless stuff -how do they charge this amount I still don’t understand!! It’s complete disappointment and mess!!! At the end when I was not happy about bill, they kept us at Reception for an hour to settle the bill, as if we were criminals. My mom with last stage of cancer waited in a plastic wheelchair at Reception, so I can finish this circus with settling the bill. If you want to save your money and nerves stay away from this clinic!
