My mother had surgery at this hospital in March. Before going, I was happy after reading the reviews. I experienced it myself and saw that these were definitely not reviews from patients or their relatives. They have one nurse looking after almost all the patients on the entire floor; neither treatment nor physical therapy equipment was installed on time. I reported that the room ventilation wasn't working. They said it wasn't working. I asked for technical support to come and check it. They just said they would call and brushed me off. When I said the room was too hot, they said the other patients were cold. Patients with prosthetic limbs were placed in rooms at 24-26 degrees Celsius. They changed our room to one on a lower floor, saying only one floor would be open on weekends. Finally, we were discharged without the epidural being removed; thankfully, the cleaning staff noticed the situation. For the sake of Professor Sinemis, we've been enduring these conditions for a month to receive oncology treatment, but because they incorporated us without establishing a proper system, we can neither receive our legally mandated documents nor get any answers. They say there are dozens of others waiting like us. We were scheduled to see a doctor at 10:40 AM for a 40-minute treatment, but we were kept waiting for six hours with an IV line in place. The reason is that even though the medication is in their own pharmacy, they haven't registered it in their inventory, meaning we're waiting for it from who knows where in Medical Park. This disorganized and exhausting process at the oncology hospital has forced us to look for other options, even though we are very satisfied with our doctor. I would like to thank the remaining staff at the oncology hospital for their care and assistance, but since it became Medical Park, there hasn't been a single responsible person, a single person who can give an answer, a single staff member who says, "This is the oncology department, let's not victimize people because of our incompetence, and if we did, let's deal with it." To avoid anyone being victimized, look at other options before the process begins. Nothing has improved in a month; in fact, things have gotten worse. **The Istanbul Oncology Hospital is the worst! They only know how to do one thing - take money from patients! Never go there!

They promised me a gamma knife, charged $4,000, and $2,000 separately for chemotherapy. But there is NO gamma knife in this hospital! If you look closely at the documents, you can see that they charged specifically for the gamma knife. The money was counted not at the cashier, but by the translator Elif in a separate room. When I asked why not through the cashier, they lied to me, saying that this was the "cashier".

When I went to see the radiologist Dr. Alpert and asked why they charged for the non-existent gamma knife, he said that it was even better - the SRS machine, and that I would see the results in 3 months.

I paid $1,600 for each chemotherapy session for the medications. Recently, after an MRI and PET scan, I discovered 10 metastases in my head! Is this the result of your "hospital"?

This is a mediocre hospital. We came here on the recommendation of doctors after a cancer diagnosis. According to SGK (Social Security Institution) regulations, the costs of chemotherapy, isotherapy, and radiotherapy for cancer patients are covered by SGK; even private hospitals don't charge extra. However, this hospital charges 10,700 TL every 15 days under the guise of chemotherapy administration, and they only accept cash; they don't accept any cards.
