Areas of Expertise

A dental implant is made of titanium and is placed inside the jawbone to replace a missing tooth. It is very strong, and once healing is complete, it cannot be removed from the bone. An implant requires about 3 months to heal after placement, and during this period, a crown cannot be installed on the implant.

Advantages:

Long-term prognosis: Since the implant replaces the tooth root, the bone level is preserved, and the result lasts longer compared to a dental bridge.
More conservative solution: Adjacent teeth are not affected, so healthy teeth remain untouched.

Disadvantages:

Higher cost: Implant treatment requires two visits. For international patients, this means considering two flights and accommodation costs.
Two-visit treatment: Some patients find it inconvenient to travel twice due to work commitments or financial reasons.

A Hollywood smile usually consists of 20, 24, or 28 teeth. The exact number depends on the treatment plan, the patient’s smile, and personal preferences.
If a patient has a wide smile, we usually prefer 24 or 28 teeth (12 or 14 teeth per jaw). The most common treatment plan includes 24 teeth.

This procedure is performed after tooth preparation. Tooth preparation, also known as tooth shaving, involves removing approximately 0.5 mm of enamel to create space for the crown to fit properly on the tooth. If this step is not done and the crown is placed directly on the tooth, the teeth may appear bulky or protruded.

The materials used for the crowns are zirconia or Emax.
Crowns can improve and change the alignment, shape, bite, color, and size of the teeth.

We focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gum disease and the structures that support the teeth. We treat conditions such as gingivitis, periodontitis, and bone loss, aiming to maintain or restore oral health. A periodontist specializes in treating serious gum problems and often performs procedures such as scaling, root planing, and bone grafting.

I came here to get several dental implants, and from my very first call until the end of my treatment, the clinic staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They were always responsive and took the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns I had.
The surgeon who performed my procedures was highly competent and professional. I have never been treated by such a skilled dental surgeon before. I am truly glad that I chose this clinic.

Overall I had a lovely experience at Dentspa. I came to visit with my mum for both of us to have crowns. My new smile is amazing & so natural just how I wanted it. Dr Tugce Akin was so professional and kind throughout my whole experience here especially as I was a nervous patient she even gave me a blanket & her assistant held my hand throughout the filing process. My root canals went smooth and pain free thanks to Dr Mehmet Kalcay. The team here are amazing at what they do and make you feel really comfortable and looked after. Especially our patient coordinator Mounaim who made sure everything ran smoothly for us throughout our stay. Thank you so much Dentspa🤍

I came to dentspa with my daughter to have new crowns fitted. We were very well cared for by the whole team. Special thanks to Mounaim for all his support. Dr Bakay for saving the day when I was not happy with my first two prototypes with another dentist within dentspa. He was caring and gentle and made my experience much smoother. My root canal and filling doctors were also amazing. I would give 5 stars but due to the issues with the first dentist I’m giving 4.

Very good service, very fast and welcoming. I had my teeth whitening and cleaning done by Dr. Bedir, and the results were great. I’m very happy with how everything turned out.

All I can say is I'm very happy with the results! The team at Dentspa took very good care of me! Getting to and from the clinic was a breeze, they took care of all of the transportation. The Dentists were super good at what they do and made my experience a good one. I showed them pictures of what my teeth looked like in the past and they made me look exactly as I expected. Now that I've had a chance to heal, I can honestly say my new teeth work as good as the real thing and look even better! My / our experience with Dr.Serdar at the DENTSPA clinic is more than one and a half year, today he did a tooth implant to me and really i did not feel any pain at the implanting surgery , he is a very expert doctor..

This is my 3rd visit, for check up and adjustment,
As usual the, I was picked up at the airport and dropped off at my hotel, also next day I was picked up at hotel for my appointment. The staff from driver to front desk to coordinator, were very helpful and Dr. Elif checked my teeth, made some adjustments and felt needed to change a bridge. Next day new bridge was put in. All this was done very professionally and in timely manner.
I would highly recommend Dent spa.

First visit April 2024, first impressions service- I was picked from my hotel by Avery polite driver, escorted me to 4th floor. I was greeted by receptionist and introduced to Tom. I was offered juice, coffee and snacks.
X-rays were taken and treatment plan was provided. Next day treatment was started, every other day there were treatments. I can’t say enough of all staff who looked after me, they are very courteous and helpful,
I was here for 12 days.
November 2024, I came back for 14 days of full replacement of my teeth.
Today I just got all my teeth, I’m so happy for the work that has been done, value wise
I would say 20 to 25 percent of the cost I would have paid in Canada.

4 months after my Hollywood Smile, I still have severe sensitivity throughout my entire mouth and cannot bite or chew properly. This has caused significant stress and seriously affected my mental health. After I paid, their WhatsApp support became unresponsive, which is unacceptable. Came all the way from California to enjoy what Istanbul and it’s people have to offer. Meanwhile, I wanted to take advantage of the Incredible dental work that is being offered here in Turkey for a small fraction of the price compare to where i came from.

Yes, I was skeptical at first, but rest assured, they really know what they are doing. They are professional, cautious and very much interested in your needs as a patient as well as what actually needs to be done for the best result. I was able to get an implant done, 3 crowns, 3 wisdoms. So pretty much, all surgery involved which I was nervous about. However, I came to find out that DentSpa really knows what they are doing, they care about their patients first and of course business later. They give you their honest opinion about what should be done, regardless of wether they will make money or not. This is a very important detail, you should watch out for. Stay away from greedy clinics, because they will hurt you financially and of course your health and well being will depend on it. You don’t want to be stuck with a failed implant or a failed root canal which could cost you more to fix back home.

Last but not least, I received Incredible support from Ayca, who was my baby sitter basically from the start to the end. Abdulghani was also my phone support and he was more than genuine and helpful during my stay here.

Shot out to doctor Derya, Dr. Mehmet and Dr. Sukran . You guys are Incredible people and thank you for everything you do. I will see you guys in 4 months for the completion of my treatment.

DentSpa is only great, because of the very people who work day and day out to meet your needs.

We traveled from the US and couldn’t be happier with our experience. DentSpa coordinated all of our transportation in Istanbul and all of our appointments started right on time. I’m extremely impressed with the care and professionalism the entire DentSpa team takes. My experience at Dentspa has been overall fantastic. From the moment I made the initial contact, communication has been really easy to convey what I wanted. They understood exactly and gave very positive reassurance and guidance all the way. I was given perfect advise for the recovery parts of the treatment. I would say pain has been minimal considering the amount of surgery I needed. The coordination has been seamless with all the airport pickups and treatments. I wanted my teeth to be perfect for the first time in my life. My teeth were getting old and cracking, and shifting and had discoloured a lot over the years. Every time I went to a dentist it cost me a lot of money yet my appearance remained the same. The dentist always wanted to put crowns on my teeth but they were extremely expensive in Australia. I started looking at options overseas and included India, Thailand and Turkey. The consultant. Ahmad was great. There was no pressure. He kept in constant contact with me and made the process feel like it was about my teeth health and results rather than financial gain. I was picked up from the airport and for every appointment. The whole team were great! And the end result was amazing. I can’t recommend Dent Spa with any higher regard. And be sure to have a seat in the free massage chairs provided, they are fantastic too!

Worst experience. Both of the crowns fell now even a year later two of my other root canal treated teeth are broken. Never recommend
