A dental implant is made of titanium and isplaced inside the bone to replace tooth. It is very strong and
after it is healed, it cannot be removed fromthe bone. An implant takes 3 months to heal after it is
placed, during this period we cannot place acrown on the implant.

Positive points:
Longer prognosis: since it replace a tooth root, the bone level is maintained
and the result longer than a dental bridge.
More conservative: We do not interfere with the adjacent teeth so healthy
teeth stay healthy.

Negative Points:
More expensive: Since implants reqiure 2 visits. international patients have to
consider x2 flight tickets and hotel.
Requires 2 visits: Some patients do not find it suitable to come twice because
of their work environment or financial status.

• Hollywood smile is usually consists of 20,24 or 28 teeth. The exact number depends on the
  treatment plan, the patient’s smille and the patient’s wishes.
• If s patient has a wide smile, we prefer 24 or 28 teeth (12 or 14 teeth per jaw). The usual plan
  includes 24 teeth.
• Itis done by first preparing the teeth. Preparing teeth, or shaving teeth, is removal of 0.5 mm of
  the enamel to give space for the crown to fit over the tooth. If it is not done and the crown is
  placed directly over tooth, the teeth will look bulgy.
• The Material used for crowns are either zircon or emax
• Crown can change the alignment, shape, bite, color and size of teeth.
